What to expect in therapy

Kacey is known, by her clients, as incredibly warm. She has an amazing ability to connect with her clients, making it easy to open up about difficult things in a safe space.

At the core of all of Kacey’s work, is supporting you in finding a fulfilling balance. This focus on balance shows within our sessions as well. Together, we find a balance between delving into the hard things and finding moments of lightness and laughter. We balance our focus between past pain with present awareness, targeting the things we can change in the here and now.

Kacey’s theoretical approach also harmonizes clarity and insight-based work with theories that focus more on the present, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy. This balance allows you to grow helpful insight and self-awareness but also to develop skills that will help you to overcome your challenges to live with more joy, peace, and balance.
